Attention Vancouver Actors and Hip-Hop Dancers!
We are filming a Feature Film this March in #Vancouver named “HOT STREET”, and we might just be looking to cast YOU!
Agents will receive Breakdowns tomorrow morning, so if you think you have what it takes, ask your Agent to submit you to our Casting Director, Judy JK Lee.
If you don’t have an Agent, that’s ok because we still want to give you a chance to show us your acting and/or Dancing skills.
This Saturday, we will be doing an Open Call in Richmond for the Actors, but in order to audition, you need to email us a photo and resume to… [email protected]
One of the Casting Assistants will get back to you this week with a time and address for this Saturday… Saturday is the Actor Audition… we will alert you all for the Dancer Auditions soon!
Below is a Breakdown of Characters we are looking to cast… A few of the Lead Roles have already been Cast… but yes, there are a few more Lead Roles available (See Below)

Angie
19, Beautiful, Intelligent girl from the good side of town. Angie runs away from her strict family so she can pursue her passion for dance, and wants to live by her own set of rules. She is very likable and has a take charge personality. Angie is also a very strong dancer.
Lead
Open to all ethnicities.
Jimmy
22 years old. Handsome bad-boy who drives a motorcycle. Jimmy is part of The Red Dragon Gang. Even though he’s part of a gang, he has a sweet side. Jimmy is also intelligent and is an exceptional dancer.

Prefer to cast Caucasian or Chinese for this role.
Cookie
18, African American, tall and chubby. Cookie is a very lovable teddy bear that is inseparable with his little buddy, Spider, and hangs off Spider’s every word. Cookie has had a tough life but always goes with the flow, and is probably a lot stronger than he knows. Cookie is a good dancer.
Lead
Open to multi ethnicities, but prefer to cast African-American or maybe Filipino for this role.
Brenda
19, pretty. Part of the Hot Street crew, Brenda is one of Angie’s Best Friend’s. She is a very strong dancer.

Maylee
19, exotic. Like Brenda, Maylee is also a part of the Hot Street crew, and is Angie’s other Best Friend. She is also a very strong dancer.

Bruno Da Silva
50’s or 60’s Mafia Boss. Bad to the bone. Bruno owns The Cave nightclub and will stop at nothing to destroy the competition.
Lead
Portuguese, Italian, or Asian, who is a very familiar actor preferably.
Tony Romano
50’s mobster. Works for Bruno Da Silva. He’s a half-wit, unscrupulous individual who doesn’t mind skimming off the top to put a few extra dollars in his pocket.

John Tan
60’s, elegant Chinese gentleman. Successful and always smartly dressed, Mr. Tan is a kind person who is always there to help Demi.

16 ish. Brother of Snatch (perhaps twins). Skateboard riding badass street kid who breaks into cars and sells dope on the corner. He has almost no morals.

30 something white collar, office worker who also happens to be a good dancer. Performs at The Cave to try and win some cash. Must be a good freestyle dancer.

Early 20’s model type that you would typically see holding the signs in between rounds at a Main Event boxing title fight.
